ABOUT ME
I live central Florida and have a wide variety of interests that are reflected in my art. I work with numerous mediums (acrylic paint, soft pastels, wood carving, mixed media, etc.) however, digital art is my preferred method. The pieces I create reflect my thoughts and interests so I see them as being 'children of my thoughts.' Some of my interests include space, science, science fiction, nature (especially water and sea life - SCUBA certified), fantasy art, fine art, animation, family, politics, continuous learning and personal growth, charity, movies, puzzles, computers, and the paranormal/mysterious (UFOs, Bigfoot, Ghosts, Bermuda Triangle, etc.).
MISSION STATEMENT
Creating art is a critical life balance mechanism for me...a stress manager and communication vehicle. I typically keep a lot of irons in the fire and my art is an old friend that has always been there when most needed. It is more than a passion, it is an obsession. It is integral to the very essence and fabric of my soul. If I have a mission as an artist, I would have to say it is to provoke thought, entertain, and inspire people to celebrate the uncommon, and strive for personal growth.
The innovators, trend setters, and leaders of society have traditionally not been those who fell in line and did what they were told.
